Registration for the 25th Annual March Monster, scheduled for Sunday, March 26th, is now live and can be found at dgscene.com/MarchMonster2017. This tournament is a ONE DAY, THREE COURSE extravaganza with stops at Washington Park, Brookside Park (tentative), and the Mohawk Compound. Due to available daylight, registration for this event is limited to a maximum of 72 players. Preregistration is highly encouraged.
Check in for pre-registrants (and day-of registration if spots are available) will take place at Washington Park between 7:30 and 8:30 am on the day of the tournament. Tee off no later than 9:00 am.
A $5 fee will be charged to all players who choose not to preregister (if spots are available on the day of the tournament).
First round: 18 holes Washington Park
Second round: 18 holes Brookside Park (tentative)
Final Round: 24 Holes Mohawk (may be an 18 hole layout based on daylight)
CTPs on all three courses are included with registration. All registrants will be entered into a drawing for a free entry into the 2017 Checkered Flag Open.
Can you tame the Monster?
Registration for the 28th ANNUAL INDY ICE BOWL, which will take place at BROOKSIDE PARK on SUNDAY, JANUARY 29th, is officially open at Disc Golf United. If at least 20 players preregister through DGU, the club will receive a FREE Discatcher Traveler basket to give away at the Ice Bowl. Only those who choose to preregister will be eligible for the basket raffle. A $5 fee will be added to all players choosing to sign up on the day of the tournament. Looking for a way to kick off 2017 with some good times and some disc golf? The annual New Year’s Day Worst Shot Doubles at Mohawk is Sunday, January 1st. This event is a Bring-Your-Own-Partner WORST SHOT doubles scramble.
Sign up before 12:00 noon at the Mohawk Disc Golf Compound and be ready to play one round of 24 holes. All division entry fees are $30 per team with $10 per team going to the IDGC Charity Fund for Gleaners Food Bank. An amateur division and pro division will be offered.

The end of 2016 is almost upon us. Please join the Indy Disc Golf Club at our final two events of the season.
On Saturday, November 12th, Greg Blatz will be hosting the 9th Annual Challenge of the Pines at Pinehurts Disc Golf Course near Acton, IN. Pinehurts is a privately owned disc golf course that is only available to play during scheduled events, so come take advantage of this opportunity to play 2 rounds of 18 holes. Pro Divisions are $22. Amateur Divisions are $12.
On Saturday, December 3, grab a partner and join us for the 23rd Annual Wild Turkey Shoot at Washington Park. The WTS is our first of four winter fundraisers and is a best shot, bring-your-own-partner event. Start looking for a partner now and don’t miss this event. Last year drew a full field of 72 players.

On Sunday, October 2nd, the Indiana Fall Series arrives at the Mohawk Disc Golf Compound. On Sunday, October 16th, the IDGC hosts the 30th Annual Best of City tournament at Washington and Brookside Parks. And on Saturday, October 22nd, Civil War comes to Indianapolis, as the Indianapolis Disc Golf Club battles the Hamilton Disc Golf Union in a massive Match Play tournament where the stakes are nothing less than the very soul of disc golf in the greater Indianapolis area.
