The IDGC is starting a Womens Disc Golf League on Wednesday evenings beginning June 1st, in conjunction with our Wednesday Handicap League. Here are some details…

It’s about to get ugly. The NapTown BroDown, a bring-your-own-partner doubles fundraiser for the Checkered Flag Open, is coming at you on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Brookside Park. See the Events page and the State Disc Golf Calendar for more info on this upcoming event and start securing your brahs…I mean, your partners…now.
Starting Monday, March 21st, the Sunday league at Pinehurts DGC moves to Monday nights. Play starts at 5:30 pm. Start time will move to 6:00 soon. Wet weather can cause cancellations at Pinehurts so check here or on our Facebook page for updates if the weather is questionable.
Starting Wednesday, May 4th, the Handicap League resumes play at Washington Park at 6:00 pm. See the Leagues page for more information on both of these exciting leagues.
The 24th Annual March Monster is scheduled for Sunday, March 20th. This year’s event will be a ONE DAY, THREE COURSE extravaganza with stops at Washington Park, Brookside Park, and the Mohawk Compound.
Sign up (if spots are available) or check in by 8:30 a.m at Washington Park. Tee off is scheduled for 9:00 a.m at the latest. Entry fees for the event are $27 for all Open divisions and $17 for all Amateur divisions ($2 discount to all current IDGC members). Optional Ace Fund $2. Optional 50/50 CTP $3.

A portion of the entry fees for this tournament will go towards our fundraising efforts for Gleaners Food Bank. This event will not be cancelled due to cold or other weather conditions. The 9th annual Boondocks Blizzard is this Sunday, January 17th. This is the third event in the 2016 IDGC fundraiser series. The IDGC charity fundraising season is underway with 2 events under our belt so far…The Wild Turkey Shoot and the Mohawk New Years Worst Shot. Our goal for this season is to raise $2000 or more. The Washington Park basket fund has been fully funded with the final $100 coming in at the Wild Turkey Shoot. The rest of the funds will be donated to Gleaners Food Bank after this years Ice Bowl festivities. See the Charity Summary page for updates on our progress so far. IDGC Founding member Henry Aldridge passed away on January 6th. In addition to being a founding member of the Indianapolis Disc Golf Club, Henry was the primary designer of the city’s two most popular courses at Washington Park and Brookside Park. Thank you Henry for what you have given us! Think of him when you sink your next long putt. Phantom Plus Prototype forever!
